Under warranty, services and replacement of parts due to manufacturing defects are complimentary. However, if instruments are mishandled, damaged, or serviced by a third party, spare parts will incur a charge. No repair fees will be applied. Should instruments require factory repair, transport charges will be borne by the customer.

Warranty

All electronic products from DFCI Pvt Ltd carry a one-year warranty from the invoice date. Accessories, including batteries, have a manufacturer’s warranty of six months. To activate the warranty, end-users must register their purchase. If unregistered, presenting the Unit Serial number and Invoice details is essential for support.

CMC
Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts (CMC)

A Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC) is a service agreement between us (or an authorized service provider) and the healthcare institution, ensuring the reliable, safe, and uninterrupted functioning of medical equipment throughout its lifecycle.

Under a CMC, the service provider takes complete responsibility for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of the device, including the replacement of spare parts. (excluding the accessories and consumables).

Cost predictability with fixed annual charges covering all repairs and parts, improved patient safety through regular preventive care and calibration, Extended equipment life due to timely service and part replacement, Minimal downtime ensuring uninterrupted clinical operations, and Regulatory compliance with documented maintenance records.

AMC
Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)

An Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) is a service agreement designed to ensure the reliable functioning and long-term performance of medical devices through regular preventive and corrective maintenance. Unlike a Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC), an AMC does not include the cost of spare parts. The contract primarily covers service support and labour charges, while the customer bears the expense of any replacement parts required during the contract period.

Benefits of AMC (Without Spare Cost):

Cost-effective option for hospitals/clinics, as the service fee is lower than a CMC Regular preventive care to reduce the chances of sudden breakdowns. Professional servicing ensures safety, accuracy, and compliance. Flexibility since the customer pays for spare parts only when required, and Extended equipment life with periodic inspection and calibration.

Training
Product Training

Product Training is a structured program conducted by the manufacturer or authorized service provider to ensure that healthcare professionals, technicians, and support staff are fully equipped to use, maintain, and troubleshoot medical devices safely and effectively.

Training is typically offered at the time of installation, during routine upgrades, or when new staff members are inducted within the warranty period. It may include hands-on demonstrations, user manuals, e-learning modules, and certificates. However, post-warranty a nominal charges are applied for product training.
